Dead iMac: Update #2

So they were able to figure out what was wrong with the iMac and found that there was some damage to the unit's power supply. They will replace everything under warranty so I will not have to pay for anything. I will just have to wait 6-7 days as the needed part will have to be ordered from somewhere else and then shipped to the Philippines. I suppose that's good news. I just hope that, number one, it arrives on time and that they will be able to fix it before the holiday break begins (otherwise I might be seeing the unit next year). And, number two, that nothing else was damaged. I asked the tech and he said that it was just the power supply. I'm just worried that some other parts simply don't show any physical indication of damage but will nonetheless exhibit symptoms in terms of performance. I sincerely hope that's not the case. Oh well. That's life, isn't it? Gotta look at the bright side.
